My Review:

What. The. Hell. I bought both the shampoo and conditioner when I first started my natural hair journey and didn't know a thing about Silicones, parabens, sulfates or even looking up reviews online! This stuff is terrible for my hair. When I first tried the shampoo, it stripped my hair like crazy! My hair felt dry, straw-like and limp. I forgot how the conditioner was the first time but when I used it again yesterday because I couldn't find my other one, same thing. When I rinsed my hair, it was so dry and coarse, definitely unlike my usual soft hair. It took forever and a day to detangle and there was so much breakage after. I think the EVCO I added helped it out a little bit but still! This set just does not work for my 4a/4b hair AT ALL!! I'm not even going to try to finish it. I'm throwing it out. It also has the perfume-like smell that I don't really like. Both were $7.99 each at CVS and you can find them at Target, Walgreens or Walmart. On the flip side, I've heard that the other products in the line work very well. However, after using this, I don't think I'll ever think of purchasing them.
Rate: 1/10 for the shampoo and 3/10 for the conditioner.
I'll leave it to your own discretion but in my opinion, I would not buy again. Ever.

KISS (:

Fourth of July: Co-Wash n Go !

I was originally planning to do a dry twist out but I decided to co-wash and go instead.
** Co Wash = Conditioner Only Wash. (No Shampoo) **

I didn't have much time so I had to hurry and get through it as much as possible.

  1. Conditioned my hair with Organix Renewing Morrocan Argan Oil Conditioner and Coconut Oil.
  2. Let it sit for 10 minutes while I showered.
  3. Rinsed out and parted into sections (This time mine weren't so even because I was rushing).
  4. Detangled with my Water and Aloe Vera Juice Mix.
  5. Working by section, I raked in my Shea Moisture Curling Souffle and then smoothed on my handy dandy Olive Oil Eco Styler Gel (the green tub).
  6. Move on to next section.
  7. Flat twist my bangs (I have heat damage there so I cover it up a lot).
And thats all! At most, it took about 10 minutes.
